Decent location, but room NEEDS improvement

The room felt somewhat substandard. There were stains visible on both the furnishings and the carpet. It was overpriced for the actual quality of the room. I EXPECT better for the price I paid. I found this disappointing.

the ground floor room was very clean and tidy. it felt quite basic but excellent for a one night stay. i found the staff hospitables, being very helpful all the time. i appreciated the ease of access and proximity to local attractions.
the breakfast service saw some slowness and it was busy so getting coffee was a very small challenge.

the location is certainly central. i found its placement ideal as a base for day trips into the surrounding area. many shops are also within a short walk from the inn.

breakfast included a satisfactory selection of items to start the day. the dining area seemed well maintained and offered a calm atmosphere. i savoured the taste of fresh produce at the breakfast.

the room provided was very clean, tidy, and adequately prepared . i noticed the provision of tea and coffee facilities. the space available was more than sufficient.

the staff assisted me in check-in, the lady was quick and efficient. she provided relevant information regarding my stay, answering all questions. i observed genuine helpfulness in the way she handled requests.

The staff greeted me with friendly service upon arrival. a lovely lad in the bar provided excellent assistance. breakfast service was similarly friendly. my room was grand for one night. It featured a clean space, a comfortable bed, and a hot shower.
